Sebastian was born on August 6th, 1523.  Sebastian's father was Francisco Ochoa-de Olarte and his mother was Maria Saenz.  His maternal grandparents were Iñigo Hernandez-de Ugarte and Catalina de Castillo.  He had two brothers and two sisters, named Diego, Iñigo, Catalina and Marta.  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.
