Pedro I, known as el Católico, was born in 1070. El Católico's father was Rey Sancho I Ramirez and his mother was Isabel de Urgel. His paternal grandparents were Rey Ramiro I de Aragon and Doña Ermesinda Gisberga. He had four half-brothers named el Batallador, el Monje, Fernando and Vela. He died at the age of 34 on September 28th, 1104.
